I'm worried that a lot of this stuff is just plain unimmersive and excessive. I looked at Horizon and while it looks interesting, it adds a LOT of stuff to the game.

So what are some of the best (or your personal favorite) gameplay overhauls and why? I really want an overhaul(s) that change the game quite a lot for a new experience, but stick with as much realism and immersion as possible. I made the leap and played with mods like Ordinator and Requiem for Skyrim and absolutely loved it. I've decided that I need to stop being such an idiot and actually take a look at some of these for FO4. Oftentimes they use menus and place items in the game that just immediately takes me out of immersion for not being "in-line" with everything else in the game. I've avoided these for a long time in pretty much every Bethesda game I've ever played because too often they are implemented pretty poorly in the game.
